The ActionScript 3.0 3D Carousel component allows you to display collections of DisplayObjects (images, MoveClips, etc) in a 3D carousel view.

This tool still has the beta status. Here is brief some info:

• Supports any DisplayObject in Flash (MovieClip, Sprite, Image, etc)
• Supports XML and RSS
• Powered by PaperVision3D for full rotation and perspective
• Support for custom controls
• Slide show mode with timer
• Custom loading placeholder

As you can see they use PaperVision3D for enabling this cool perspective distortion.
This option makes the final image more realistic comparing to all known applications
of this effect.
